Buckeyes in 13th After 36 Holes at Jim West

San Marcos, Texas – The Ohio State women’s golf team is in 13th place after two rounds at the Jim West Challenge. The Buckeyes posted a 14-over 590 Sunday at Kissing Tree Golf Course.

Niki Schroeder leads the Buckeyes in a tie for 18th at 1-under after going 71-72 through the first two rounds. Sophomore Yukie Sasaki (75-75) and junior Adeena Shears (74-76) sit at 6-over in a tie for 50th through the opening day. Sophomore Sofia Seldemirova tallied a 75-77 (+8) while fellow sophomore Alanis Sakuma went 81-72 (+9).

Freshman Lauren Peter competed as an individual for the Buckeyes, finishing the day at 9-over (77-76).
