Attending employers recruit across a broad range of disciplines. There will be a large number of private sector companies recruiting for business and technical functions such as communications, business analysis, logistics, retail management, general management, graphic design, human resources, marketing, sales, financial planning, and other related areas.
In addition there are opportunities for science and technology students in areas such as laboratory based research and development in medical and industrial settings, as well as computer science and engineering roles. Federal and State government agencies will also be well represented offering opportunities in administration, fiscal management, technology, diplomacy, and law enforcement and security related functions. Advanced research via Handshake is recommended to determine if a particular employer of interest will be in attendance. Attending employers seek to fill full-time, entry level positions as well as summer internships.
Following all current safe and healthy campus guidelines, The Spring Career Fair is scheduled to be in-person at Ohio Union on January 18. Accommodations for students who are uncomfortable attending the January 18 in-person event should be submitted by Noon on Thursday, January 13. This annual recruitment event is open to all current Ohio State students and recent graduates and provides opportunity for students to network with employers and learn about dynamic internship or career opportunities.
