Buckeyes’ 2018-19 Tournament Schedule Set

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s golf team, coming off its sixth trip to NCAA Championships in the last eight seasons, has announced its 2018-19 tournament schedule which includes 10 regular-season events.

The Buckeyes open the season in Ann Arbor, Mich., at the East & West Match Play Challenge, an event they notched a third-place finish at a year ago, Sept. 16-18. A trip to Chicago for the Windy City Collegiate follows Oct. 1-2 before the Tar Heel Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C., Oct. 12-14 and the fall finale at the Jim West Challenge Oct. 28-29 in San Marcos, Texas.

Ohio State hosts the 24th running of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif., to open up the spring swing Feb. 3-5. The Buckeyes then travel to Peoria, Ariz., for the Westbrook Invitational, where they placed second in 2018, Feb. 24-25, before the Lady Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla., March 9-10.

Ohio State then makes an international trip to Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic, for the Tar Heel Classic March 15-16, before the Bryan National Collegiate in Greensboro, N.C., March 29-31 and the regular season finale, the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational, at Scarlet April 13-14.

The Buckeyes will look to compete in their 25th-consecutive NCAA Regional May 6-8 at a site to be determined. The 2019 NCAA Championships run from May 17-22 at Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Ark.
