Data I/O Registration has hit capacity at 100 attendee sign-ups; we invite you to put your name first come first serve on our wait list. You will be notified on October 4th if there is space in the event for you.
Data I/O will be held Saturday, October 19th 9:30am-5:30pm on the 3rd floor of 18th Ave Library. Groups of 1-4 will work on projects of their choice by bringing an open source dataset or using one of the suggested data sets. All analytical work must be done at the event. Judges will award prizes for best overall project, runner-up, best visualization, and best insights. Mentors will be available to help throughout the day.
Groups may be formed ahead of time or during the check-in period on the day of the event. Be sure that all team members have registered themselves. All future event logistics will be sent via email.
This is a great event to get more data concentrated practice than at a case competition and to have something shorter than a hackathon, while still collaborating with peers, professors, and professionals. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.
